前陣子先是讀到 Lonely Planet 推薦的十條最佳單車路線（這一篇），
之後是 National Geographic 出版的 Travler 雜誌，在 Tours of a Lifetime 2011專欄推薦的亞洲行程，包含了一條緬甸的單車路線（這一篇）。
今天，則又在 Flipboard 上看到，National Geographic 不落人後，在『Journeys of a Lifetime』一書中，也選出十條經典單車路線和 Lonely Planet 較勁，

NG選出的十條單車路線（原文）：
1. La Route Verte, Canada（4,000km）：
.
貫穿Quebec東西向，超過四千公里的『綠線』（Route Verte），
有非常清楚的標示以及景點指示，有St. Lawrence 河景，也有Laurentides的山景。
路線不會太難，只是距離長了些。

2. Underground Railroad Bicycle Route, U.S.A./Canada（3,310km）

3. Ruta Austral, Chile（1,300km）
.
美景不斷的一條路線。

4. Munda Biddi Trail, Western Australia（332km）
.
off road 路線。

5. Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam（1,200km）

從河內出發，會經過一些博物館及景點，
之後會經過美麗的礁湖、小漁村，沿著海岸到達南中國海。
不過路況不佳很有挑戰性。

6. Gran Fondo Campagnolo, Italy（爬升4,200m，總長209km）
.
每年六月中在義大利南方舉行的自行車賽。

7. Luchon to Bayonne, France（325km）
.
環法賽最艱難，穿越庇裡牛斯山的一段路線 --- 放這裡是幹嘛！？
經過Peyresourde, Aspin, Tourmalet, and Aubisque。
選出來放Top10，真的有讀者照著騎應該會死人吧....。

8. Route du Comte Jean, Belgium/France（220km）
.
比利時境內這條單車路線似乎非常有名，Vlaanderen Fietsroute（Flemish Cycle Route，750km）。
而從靠近北法的 Bruges 開始，則可接上 Route du Comte Jean，繼續騎 220km 進入法國境內。
這條路線沒有爬山，不過沿著海岸線可能有側風。

9. Land's End to John O'Groats, Britain（1,450km +）

10. Cape Argus Pick'n Pay Cycle Tour, South Africa（109km）
.
雖不是距離最長的比賽，但卻是參加人數最多的，35,000人。
可看到海岸風景及穿越 Talbe Mountain 國家公園。
